Once
you accept this Membership Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "the
Agreement"), you will be considered a "Member" of the
Mentorship Network for Women (hereinafter referred to as "the Network" or "Mentorship Network". This
allows you to use your Network ID and password for personal,
non-commercial use of WomensMentorship.com, (hereinafter referred to as
the "Site").
Terms of UseBy accessing
and using this Site, you are agreeing to the following Terms of Use.
All users of this Site need to adhere and agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, do not use the Site. If you
have any questions regarding the use of the Site please refer to the
Frequently Asked Questions area or contact us using the Contact link above
or by email at services *atthe* mentorshipsystems.com. ADULT WOMEN ONLYMEMBER
AREAS OF THE SITE ARE RESTRICTED TO ACCESS AND USE BY ADULT WOMEN 18
YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. BY REGISTERING AS A MEMBER TO ACCESS AND USE
THE SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SITE, YOU ARE CERTIFYING THAT YOU ARE
A WOMAN AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. Keep Your Registration Information UpdatedAs
a Registered Member of the Network, you agree that all Registration
Information you provide during the Membership Registration Process or
the Membership Subscription Process is current and complete. You also
agree to notify us of any changes to your Registration Information. If
you fail to update your Registration Information or if all or part of
your Registration information is reported or suspected to be untrue,
inaccurate, or incomplete we may suspend or terminate your membership
and impose other penalties including the cancellation of services
without refund to you of any fees paid. Do Not Block Our Messages It is your responsibility to ensure that you are receiving correspondence from the Network by not intentionally
blocking messages from services *atthe* mentorshipsystems.com. If you are having difficulty receiving messages addressed from this email, please contact us at services *atthe* mentorshipsystems.com or through our Contact Form. You may have to change your email program to allow mail coming from MentorshipSystems.com to receive mail from us directly to your inbox.Keep Your Network ID and Password SecurePlease keep your password secure. If you forget your password, to to Lost Password.
Notify us immediately if you believe that your Network ID or password
has been comprimised or used without your permission. Do Not Post Personally Identifiable InformationThe
Network does not allow the public posting of personal contact
information or personally identifiable information such as your social
security number, home address, or otherwise, through any of our
Services. Please read the "Code of Conduct" for additional guidelines. Do Not Post Offensive MaterialsThe Network can not control
the information available on the Site at all times. Any opinions,
advice, statements, offers or other information or content presented or
disseminated on any service are those of the respective authors who are
solely liable for their content. The Network reserves the right, in
their sole discretion, to edit or remove any material from any Service.
Do Not Intentionally Mislead AnyoneYou are forbidden to
impersonate a Network employee, agent, manager, host, or another user.
You are not allowed to knowingly post misleading information or make
false statements in content you submit to the site. Report Suspected Usage by Minors or MenOur
Site and services are directed toward women over eighteen years
old “Adult Women” and we do not knowingly collect information from children under “13” (Minors). We discourage unauthorized access to our site by Minors or Men and will immediately take actions to remove any account we find to be operated by a Minor or Men. Use for Entertainment Purposes OnlyThe
Site contains content that is intended to be used for entertainment
purposes only and may not contain depictions of fact. Other than for
entertainment purposes, you acknowledge and agree not to rely on such
content. The Site may also contain opinions, views, statements and
recommendations of third party individuals or organizations. The Site
does not represent or endorse the accuracy, correctness or reliability
of any facts, opinions, views, statements and/or recommendation or
other information displayed, uploaded or distributed through the Site.
You acknowledge that the Network does not give tax, legal or investment
advice or advocate the purchase or sale of any security or investment. Use Your JudgementIn
addition, the information and content available through the Site is not
a replacement for the services of trained professionals
in any field, including, but not limited to, psychological, financial, medical, or
legal matters. You should regularly consult a doctor in all matters
relating to physical or mental health and concerning any symptoms that
may require diagnosis or immediate medical attention. The Network makes
no representations or warranties concerning any action by any person
following the receipt of information offered or provided within or
through the Site. The Network, its partners, or any of their
affiliates, will not be held liable for any direct, indirect,
consequential, special or other damages that may result, including but
not limited to financial loss, personal or professional injury, illness
or death. YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:under
no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, will we or
any of our licensors or suppliers be liable for any special or
consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to
use, the materials on the sites, or any products or services provided
pursuant to the site, even if advised of the possibility of such
damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of
liability or incidental or consequential damages (including but not
limited to lost data), so the above limitation or exclusion may not
apply to you. In no event shall the total liability to you by us or any
of our licensors or suppliers for all damages, losses, and causes of
action (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid
by you to us, if any, for accessing the sites.
- Your use of the
site is at your sole risk. The site is provided on an "as is" and "as
available" basis. The Network expressly disclaims all warranties of any
kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the
implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
and non-infringement.
- The Network makes no warranty that (i)
the site will meet your requirements, (ii) the site will be
uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that
may be obtained from the use of the site will be accurate or reliable,
(iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other
material purchased or obtained by you through the site will meet your
expectations, and (v) any errors in the software will be corrected.
- Any
material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the site
is done at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely
responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that
results from the download of any such material.
- No advice or
information, whether oral or written, obtained by you through the Site
shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the Terms of Use.
The
Network shall not be responsible for any damages whatsoever that result
from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files, errors,
defects, delays in operation or transmission, or any failure of
performance, whether or not caused by events beyond the Network’s
reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God,
communications line failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access
to the Network’s records, programs, or services. Right to Charge Fees for ServicesWe
reserve the right to charge fees, surcharges and/or membership fees for
all or any of its services currently provided for free at any time upon
thirty (30) days' prior written notice to you. Right to Terminate Your MembershipThe
Network reserves the right, at its sole discretion, immediately and
without notice, to suspend or terminate your Membership Registration
and ability to access the Site and/or any other service provided to you
as a Member if it determines in its sole discretion that you have
breached these Terms of Use, Privacy Policy or Code of Conduct.
Disputes Regarding Site or ServicesIf
you have a dispute with us regarding our Site or the Services we
provide, you should cancel your registration or discontinue your use of
the Site. How to Cancel Your MembershipYou may cancel your Membership with the Mentorship Network for Women at any time. Please see our Cancellation Procedures for more information.
Copyright and Ownership RightsThe Mentorship Network for Women ("Network") retains ownership of all rights to the Mentorship Network logos, advertising, software, databases, database design, web site, and information
posted and used within the Site and within all Services. By extension,
any content including pictures, articles, or other information posted
by you become the property of the Network, and the Network reserves the
right to reuse the content at its sole discretion. The Network reserves
the right to restrict the use of its name, system, logo, software,
lists, databases, reports, and any information created or obtained by
the Network or its services. The Mentorship Guidance System including the 10 Mentorship Focus areas and 26 Career Focus areas were developed exclusively for women using the Mentorship Network. Use of this methodology without written consent signed by an authorized officer of the Network constitutes a copyright infringement and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. Law.
Proprietary InformationThe
information provided by the Network to Members may be proprietary in
nature. Members acknowledge that they are not competitors of the
Network and agree not to share this information with any competitors. Copyright Infringement PolicyIf
you believe that your work has been copied and has been posted to this
Site in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, immediately
provide the Network with a notice of your complaint by providing the
following information in writing:
- the electronic or physical signature of the owner of the copyright or the person authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
- identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
- identification
of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information
about its location reasonably specific to permit the Network to locate
the material;
- your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- a
statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed
use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a
statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in
your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or
are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Code of ConductRespect Others
THINK about what you are writing and why you are writing it BEFORE you post anything to the Site.
Profane language will not be tolerated and should not be used in any posts or profiles.
Posts should be as accurate and as honest as possible.
Your contributions will be a lasting contribution to the Site and attributed to you as a member. Please contribute responsibly.
Treat other members with the same respect you expect.
Do not misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Do not use information obtained through this site for commercial purposes. Protect Our Members and Yourself
Report other members you suspect of violating this Agreement and Code of Conduct.
Notify us if there is any content that you find may be offensive or unlawful in nature.
Report anyone you feel may be impersonating a Network employee, agent, manager, host, or another user.
Do
not post or recommend any materials that may harm or disrupt another
user's computer or would allow others to inappropriately access
software or web sites.
Do not harass others and we ask that you report any harassment you may observe;
For
your own security, do not post any telephone numbers, address, or other
personally identifiable information in discussion areas or in content
submissions. Always be aware of whom you give this type of information.
Don’t Break the Law
Use of the Site for the purpose of linking to external sites that violate this Agreement is prohibited.
Adhere to all local and national laws that pertain to your location.
Do
not post, transmit or otherwise make available any content that can be
considered unlawful or obscene, pornographic or defamatory, threatening
or harmful, invasive or abusive, or otherwise objectionable;
Do not provide any Content that encourages a criminal offense or violates the rights of any party;
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or other Member accounts.
You
alone are responsible for the actions you take based on advice or
information you obtain through the Site. Use care when evaluating
information provided through the Site and by other members.

take your privacy very seriously. Our company and employees are
committed to data security and protecting your personally identifiable
information, such as your name, address, and e-mail. The purpose of
this Privacy Statement is to help you understand how the Mentorship Network for Women (hereinafter referred to as “the Mentorship Network”)

how and when we would need to share your information with outside

have the option to unsubscribe or subscribe to any of these email

Registration Process, you may be required to provide certain personal
contact information such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address,
birth date, and password. This information is considered "Personally
Identifiable Information" and will not be shared without your explicit
permission. This information is known on the site as your "Registration
Information" and can be updated at any time by going to Your Account -> Registration Information. Payment InformationOther
personally identifiable payment information such as your credit card
number and payment address is the responsibility of our Third-Party
Payment provider, PayPal. The Site does not capture or store any
payment information. To view the terms of use and privacy policy of

may share aggregated information (a summary of details which does not
contain your personal information) with third parties, such as
advertisers and marketing partners. Log FilesThe Network uses
and maintains information obtained from your browser in our server

browser type, Internet service provider ("ISP"), and other data that is used to analyze site traffic and trends, improve the site, and track
demographic data for aggregate use. In some instances, we may link your
log files to your personal information to to resolve technical issues

with others when we have your explicit permission, or under the types
of circumstances described in this Policy. You can change your

Third Parties contracted with the Network for auditing or other
purposes are required to maintain the confidentiality of your
information and are prohibited from retaining, sharing, storing or
using this information for any purpose not outlined in this Policy. PersonalizationThe
Network may use information you provide to personalize advertisements
and information that is offered to you through the Site. We may also
use your Member Profile and Preferences information to compare your
choices to other Members in an effort to more accurately match Mentors
to Prot?g?e’s. Maintenance and Transmission of Personal DataIt
is our Policy to comply with all laws that govern the collection and
use of your personal information. Realize that we cannot guarantee that
the transmission of your data over the Internet will be completely
secure and could be intercepted or accessed unlawfully by a third
party.The Network uses industry standards to protect your privacy and
has taken the appropriate technical and organizational measures to help
prevent unauthorized access, and maintain data security. Modifying and Removing Your InformationYou
have the opportunity to review and correct any of your information that
we may have, or to restrict the uses we make of your information at any
time through the Your Account -> Site Preferences section of the Site.
You can request that your information be deleted from our system by sending us an email at services *atthe* mentorshipsystems.com
and we will respond to your request as quickly as possible. Please be
aware that even if you request that your information be removed from
our systems, some information may never be completely removed due to
technical and legal constraints, including the need for backups and the
use of your information as base data for aggregate reports. We will
also store any information that is required by law for us to maintain,
and for the legal length of time required. We will not store
information longer than necessary to operate our business or comply
with legal considerations. Private Message ServicesOur
Private Message Services protect your privacy and the privacy of the
recipient through the Site. It is up to you to provide other members
your professional or personal contact information outside of the
Network. The Network will not read or disclose communications through
this site unless we believe it is necessary to share the information in
order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal
activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to
the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use, or
as otherwise required by law enforcement. We Respect Your Network’s Privacy When
you inform a friend about the Site using one of our Services, you will
be asked to provide your friend's name and e-mail address. We will only
use the email address you provide us to send your friend the
information you indicated and will not store this email address for any
other purpose. Member Information is Considered "Public"The
Site allows you to store personal and professional information. The
information stored in your Member Profile (including Mentor and
Mentee preferences) may be viewable the public and other members. If you wish to keep any of your
information private for any reason, do not disclose your information
through this Site. This includes open text areas where you can describe
your professional goals and achievements and we urge you to take care
in revealing too much personal information for your own security. SecurityWe
collect, store and process your personal information on servers located
in the United States and Canada. Our servers are maintained and
administered by InMotion Hosting located in the United
States. Employees of The Network only have access to personal
information on an as needed basis to assist members with services or
issues. Jurisdiction These terms will be governed by and in
accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of
America, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You
agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates
to these terms will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance
with California State and United States Federal laws. If any of these
terms and conditions are found unlawful, void, or for any reason
unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from
the remaining terms and conditions, and will not affect the validity
and enforceability of the remaining provisions. This is the entire
agreement between you and us relating to the subject matter it
contains. This agreement may be modified only by our posting of changes
to this Agreement, or by a separate document signed by both parties. DisclosuresThe
Network may disclose information about you and your use of the Site if
the Network believes such disclosure is reasonably necessary: (i) to
comply with the law or legal process; (ii) to protect or defend the
rights or property of the Network or others; (iii) to enforce the
Network Registration Agreement, Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy;
and (iv) to respond to claims that the content(s) of a communication
violates the rights of another. In addition the Network may share or
transfer information about you and that you provide to he Network, to
one or more third party entities pursuant to a sale, merger,
assignment, joint venture or other transfer or disposition of a
portion, or all of, the assets or stock of the Network or its
affiliated entities, or as otherwise provided herein.

registration as a Member of the Network constitutes your acceptance of
this Agreement. If you do not accept any of the terms of this
Agreement, we ask that you do not complete the Registration process.
The
Network reserves the right to modify, or change this Membership
Agreement, its Terms and Conditions, Copyright and Ownership Notices,
Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct at any time. Members and users of
the Site are encouraged to review these terms on a regular basis. An
updated date at the bottom of the web page will indicate the last date
changes were made to this agreement.
